Busy Weeks... (This and Last)

On January 22, my husband and I celebrated our FIRST wedding anniversary.

On January 27th, our daughter celebrates her 2nd birthday....
(Yep, we did things a little out of order)

With the 2nd birthday approaching fast, I decided to attempt the dreaded "Potty Training".

We have been introducing it to her for the past six month, but nothing die hard. It's time to get "Die Hard". Who am I kidding..... I'm not the "Die Hard" type of person. Let's just hope she will take to it.

Now it's on to Party Planning... I'm not the "Party Planning" type of person either... ( Big Sigh....)

So far this week...

I started a new diet for two reasons....
1 - The damn insurance companies will not insure me due to my height and weight (WTH?)
2 - Friday night while the Hubby and I were out visiting some friends at one of the local establishments, I committed my self to doing Beach to Bay this year....

So Ella and I have been heading to the track every night.... (It's only been two nights so far...LOL)

She's resting...

On Monday Ella had dance class after being out for like a month. (Due to the Holidays and a visit to GiGi and JaJa's House)

She was just not that in to it.... (I don't think Daddy being there helped much)

But then she decided to partake a little...

Then it was off to do her own thing...

Now it's time to figure out the rest of the week. So much to do with Anniversary and Ella's Birthday approaching...

Birthday PARTY....

We celebrated my Dad's 50th Birthday this past weekend... It was great to spend time with family and friends...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!

Ella got her last Christmas present... She had a little trouble figuring it out so she got some help from this handsome little man... Max

Notice the cute purple band-aid? She also got her first bobo on the four wheeler...
(She has joined the Four Wheeler Injury Club with her Mother and Uncle Gregory. I do have to say I'm still the only one that has ended up in the emergency room. Let's hope it stays that way.)

We all together just loved spending a beautiful day outside...

New Year's Resolution....

I have THREE...

1. I'm going to use this blog as a scrapbook... And I will try to keep up with it on a weekly basis.

2. Get our family finances in order. This is a big one.... Being a one income family is hard to say the least, but it is something we chose to do.... With Ella's condition, we believe this is the best way to keep her healthy... We are by no means germaphobics... BUT Daycares carry ALOT of germs...

I have such mixed emotions about my husband staying home with Ella... I could go on FOREVER, but I won't.. (at least for now, just two little comments... 1-I wish it was me 2-Is she missing something?)

3. To stop smoking.... This is for both myself and my husband... And of course it ties back in to resolution #2. (Just think of the money we will save)

This actually started as a Christmas Resolution... Santa brought us these helpful little contraptions for Christmas.

They have been life savers.... I am proud to say we have both been without Tobacco Cigarettes for a week and a half now....

Well I hope everyone had a Wonderful CHRISTmas....

We did to say the least.

And of course A HAPPY NEW YEAR... Welcome 2012

A little Christmas Spirt....

This Christmas is going to be fun....

Last year being Ella's first will always be special, but this year she gets it. She is so enjoying the Lights, Christmas trees, baby Jesus and the presents. Although she's not too sure on the presents. Right now they are just pretty boxes to her. With her Birthday being in January, she has not really gotten to open a present yet. ( at least with the understanding there's something good inside)

My husband and I are both EXCITED to watch her reactions to it all this year....
